Mental Health Coordinator
Anna Mitchell is the Mental Health Coordinator 
for Pelham City Schools. In 2020, the Alabama State Department of Education passed legislation to fund the position of Mental Health Coordinator in 102 school districts. The goal of this position is to ensure that all students enrolled in local school systems have access to high quality mental health prevention, early interventions and treatment resources. In her role, Ms. Mitchell coordinates mental health services and makes them readily available to Pelham City Schools students and their families.
