Neighborhood Bridges is a national non-profit charity that was founded in 2017 to engage with communities and become a gateway to kindness for students and families in need. They have now expanded to ten cities in Alabama, with Pelham being one of the latest communities to join the program. Essentially, Neighborhood Bridges is like a year-round angel tree bridging community kindness and resources to support our neighbors in need.

Pelham community members can sign up to receive a weekly email that includes a list of needs identified for students in our schools. Community members choose the need they would like to fulfill and deliver the donation to any of the five Pelham Fire Department stations. Once donations are received, the fire department will deliver the kindness donations to the student’s school. It’s that easy!
Sign up to receive emails about the “opportunities for kindness”, and let’s spread kindness throughout our community!
You can also view needs on the Neighborhood Bridges Pelham website as well as Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram pages specific to Neighborhood Bridges Pelham.
