Pelham Homecoming Week set for September 15-20, 2025

In our continued effort to make Pelham Homecoming a celebration of community and all of our schools, we are planning several events for homecoming week.

Students and community can look forward to dress-up days, PowderPuff flag football and reverse volleyball games, the introduction of the homecoming court and the Homecoming Queen & King, the varsity football game versus Chilton County, and the annual Panther Prowl Parade and Community Pep Rally!

Pelham Panthers Spirit Shirts
Once again, we're offering a homecoming shirt for students of all ages, parents and community to purchase! Orders by Sunday, September 14 to get your shirt in time for the game!

Panther Prowl & Community Pep Rally
On Thursday, September 18, the Panther Prowl parade will commence at 5:30 p.m. and last approximately 30 minutes. NEW THIS YEAR: The parade route will BEGIN at the Pelham Parks & Recreation entrance off Bearden Road (back parking lot for youth baseball and softball fields) and proceed up Bearden Road. The parade will end at the entrance to Pelham High School. We anticipate another great parade with a variety of groups from the high school, middle school, and Parks & Rec youth sports participating.

After the parade, the Community Pep Rally will take place at Ned Bearden Stadium at Pelham High School. The event will begin at approximately 6:30 p.m. and will include festivities for all ages to show off their Panther Pride.

Sharing the Spirit: Kindergarten-Senior Walk sponsored by the Pelham City Schools Foundation
Calling all Pelham City Schools Kindergarten & Senior Students! We're going to continue the tradition started last year, where Pelham High School Seniors will pass along their Panther Pride to the Kindergarteners at our annual Homecoming Community Pep Rally!

All Kindergarten and Senior students are invited to join us on the football field for a heartwarming moment where these two groups will come together. The Seniors will Share the Spirit with our youngest Panthers and kick off a new legacy of pride in the Pelham Family.

What to Expect: Near the end of the Community Pep Rally, the Kindergarteners and Seniors will be invited to each end of the football field and then walk to midfield where Kindergarteners will be greeted by the Seniors and given a small gift.

Kindergarten and senior students/parents - check email for communication from your schools on how to register!

We appreciate the Panther Pride and participation of our students and community at these events! It's always a Great Day to Be a Panther!
