Community Resources for Families in Need
Posted on 11/05/2025
We recognize that the ongoing federal government shutdown may be creating uncertainty or hardship for some families in our community, particularly those who rely on federal assistance programs such as SNAP. During times like this, we want to ensure that our students and families have access to the support they need.
If your family is experiencing food insecurity or other challenges, local organizations are ready to help.
We also know that many in our community are looking for ways to lend a hand. The same list includes opportunities for those who would like to donate or volunteer with local organizations that are assisting families in need.
If your family needs support—or if you’re looking for ways to help others—you’ll find helpful community resources and local assistance information here.
At Pelham City Schools, we remain committed to the well-being of our students and families. Please don’t hesitate to reach out to your child’s school counselor if you need help connecting with resources or if we can assist in any way.
Thank you for the care and generosity that make Pelham such a strong and supportive community.
